Members of the SABRE research team presented some of their recent research findings at an Aero-Structure Dynamics workshop held at Swansea University in February. The event, hosted by Prof. Sondipon Adhikari, was aligned with the Royal Academy of Engineering Distinguished Visiting Fellowship visit of Prof. Ranjan Ganguli from IISc Bangalore. The day long workshop included a range of presentations on aeroelasticity, structures, and dynamics. SABRE related talks comprised Dr. Brano Titurus’s talk on dynamics activities at Bristol, Dr. Vaclav Ondra’s presentation on the Active Tendon concept, Dr. Mohammadreza Amoozgar’s talk on the Inertial Twist concept and Dr. Benjamin Woods gave an overview of the SABRE program. The event led to lively and productive discussions which continued on into the evening meal. Thanks to Prof. Adhikari and Prof. Ganguli from the SABRE team for an excellent event!
